03. Install Web Platform Installer

  1. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/web/downloads/platform.aspx and download the Web Platform Installer.
  2. Install and run the Web Platform Installer.
  3. In the main window, click [Add] for each of the web components, including Visual Studio 2010 SP1, then click [Install].

  4. Click [I Accept] to begin the installation process. This will take several minutes to complete.
  5. When completed, the installer window may indicate that Visual Studio 2010 SP1 has not been installed. Ignore this, and click [Exit].
